Today - Oldham St Mary’s Policing Team attended a Partnership Surgery and Estate Walkabout |

Today St Mary’s Policing Team attended a Partnership Surgery with FCHO/Community Safety/Community Development and UCAN Northwest. During this meeting ASB issues were discussed along with problematic addresses/tenants and Youth Causing Annoyance suspects. This is a multi-agency approach to tackling Anti-Social Behaviour and over the coming weeks Partners will be carrying out enforcement to ASB perpetrators around the St Mary’s area of Oldham. After this meeting partners carried out an Estate Walkabout and liaised and visited addresses around Egerton Street/Rock Street and Walshaw Street.
Quote from FCHO ASB Officer I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who attended today's partnership meeting and contributed to our ASB Awareness Week walkabout. Your willingness to share information, discuss problem-solving approaches and work collaboratively to support our communities is greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank everyone for supporting the development of an early intervention pathway for young people who may be involved in, or at risk of becoming involved in anti-social behaviour. By working together to make referrals into UCAN and engaging families at the earliest opportunity, we are creating positive alternatives and providing support before enforcement becomes necessary wherever possible. The community walkabout was another valuable opportunity to engage directly with customers, hear their concerns, identify areas for improvement and ensure that local voices continue to shape our approach to tackling ASB. Thank you once again for your time, commitment and continued support.
